Biography

Tyler Mozingo was born on June 20, 1993.

Halo 3

Calm's professional Halo career began in 2008 when he attended MLG Dallas 2008 as a member of Mind Over Matter alongside Heirarch, Soul and LAK3RS. They finished in the top 48. Calm returned at the following year's Dallas event with a new team - Supernatural - alongside MinorityMan, Beast_702 and KonShi. This time, Calm's team made the Championship Bracket, finishing 24th.

In 2010, Calm began competing in the MLG Doritos Combine events, starting in Nashville with teammates Eli_X, i-POiSON and KonShi. They finished 14th at the Nashville combine. For the major event in Columbus, Calm joined Take Respect alongside Prototype, HaloKnight and zNightmare, taking a 24th place finish. Turning his attention back to the Combines, Calm joined Victorious Secret alongside Swift Kill, Adrenaline and Piggy for Denver, where they took 1st place without dropping a single match. In Raleigh, a new Victorious Secret roster competed, with Piggy having been replaced by Watch. They took 18th at the event.

Halo: Reach

For the D.C. Reach Combine, Calm remained on Victorious Secret alongside Swift Kill, Watch and Monix. They finished 2nd, losing to Vicious Intent in the Finals. The same roster returned for the Dallas Reach Exhibition, where they finished 3rd.

Going into the 2011 season with MLG switching to Reach as the flagship game, Calm, Watch and Swift Kill recruited Ninja as their fourth and changed the team name to UoR Invictus. Despite a 3-0 upset over eventual event winners Status Quo, Invictus ultimately finished 12th, eliminated by Dynasty. For Columbus, Ninja was replaced by Reliable and the team name went back to Victorious Secret. The new roster took 8th place in Columbus. Going into Anaheim, Watch was replaced by 2009 National Champion Clutch, but the team's performance suffered as they went home with an 11th place finish. In Raleigh, Clutch and Reliable were replaced by Pro Circuit veterans Totz and BatMayne as the name was shortened to simply UoR Secret. The new roster finished a disappointing 16th, notably resulting in Totz' retirement. With Swift Kill leaving after Raleigh, Calm and BatMayne recruited Thrust and European pro Reaction to round out the Secret roster. In Orlando, they finished a season low 22nd. Calm then sat out the Providence National Championships.

For the Columbus no-bloom event, Calm joined SyA alongside JeRawockee, Laz and Soul. They finished in the top 32.

Halo 4

Calm's participation in Halo 4 was limited, his first event being the Dallas exhibition event. As a member of TEC Victorious, Calm played alongside Hoaxer, Mikwen and Reaction, taking a top 24 finish. Calm was next seen at AGL 8 Knoxville on team Gimme My Money alongside Blaze, Elitest and Reliable. They took a top 6 finish.

Halo 2: Anniversary

Calm returned to competitive Halo once again in 2015, returning to SyA alongside Blaze, JeRawockee and CrispyDew at Iron Games Atlanta 2015. They finished in the top 16. Calm, Blaze and Jerawockee were then recruited by Velocity along with Burton, but never ended up attending an event under the name.

Halo 5: Guardians

Calm, Blaze and Burton eventually left Velocity to join Fatal Ambition alongside Elitest in early September. They first competed at the Iron Games Daytona 2015 event taking 2nd place. During Halo World Championship 2016 season, after spending time on a Kinetic Empire team that amounted to nothing, Calm joined Noble eSports alongside Swift Kill, Rayne and Penguin. Noble qualified for the NA Regional Finals as the 7th seed. At Regionals, Noble finished top 8, qualifying for Halo World Championship 2016. Between Regionals and Worlds, the Noble roster got into a dispute with the organization, resulting in the players leaving to join Team eLevate. At Worlds, eLevate won their group, sweeping Denial eSports in the process. They then defeated Epsilon eSports in the quarterfinals and lost to Team Allegiance in the semifinals, taking a top 4 finish and $250,000.

Calm did not compete in Halo 5 again until late 2016, when he joined SetToDestroyX alongside Blaze, Burton and Musa. By HCS Las Vegas 2016, Musa was replaced with Hunter Jjx. At the event, StDx were unable to qualify for the Open Circuit Finals, losing to Dynasty and Pnda Gaming in matches that would have seen them through. As a result, StDx finished outside the top 14.

During the offseason, StDx made a roster change, replacing the retiring Hunter Jjx with TiZoXiC. TiZoXiC joining allowed the team to join the Esports Minor League, replacing Most Wanted. The new roster's first event together was UGC St. Louis 2017, where they finished top 12 after notably upsetting pro team Pnda Gaming.
