Catastrophe is a North American former Halo team.

History[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Pro League/Open Circuit[edit]

Catastrophe first surfaced in May 2016. Consisting of Joey "TriPPPeY", Douglas "Musa" Musa, Tristan "BrainStrms" Gurudeo and Jonathan "Renegade JW" Willette, the team garnered attention when they won the first Open Qualifier of the Summer 2016 HCS Pro League season, defeating many established pros in the process. Catastrophe competed in the Last Chance Qualifier but were ultimately unable to qualify for the Pro League, finishing in the top 8.

Fielding a new roster of TriPPPeY, Renegade JW, BrainStrms and Kyle "Nemassist" Kubina, Catastrophe emerged in the Open Circuit as a top team. Near the halfway point of the season, Renegade left the team to join Team eLevate, leaving Catastrophe to pick up Nick "V t3ct9" in his place. After three weeks in the circuit, Catastrophe's roster (minus TriPPPeY) was acquired by Team eLevate.
