Halo 5: Guardians
DasTroyed got into competitive Halo through the influence of his friends - fellow competitors Yiws and Crony. Initially competing exclusively online with Yiws, Crony and AfterLife2222, DasTroyed made his name winning ESL online cups. His first venture into the Halo Championship Series came in Summer 2016, when he competed in the Open Circuit with Yiws, Crony and AfterLife, never placing above the top twelve and not qualifying for the season finals. DasTroyed attended his first event, 2050 Chattanooga, as a member of Earthroot Gaming alongside Cafee Con Leche, Galaxy and Shay. They finished in the top sixteen. After Chattanooga, DasTroyed reunited with Yiws and recruited fellow Chattanooga attendees Nemassist, BoamX for a new team - The Chatt Shade Squad. The roster competed in the Fall 2016 Open Circuit, replacing Yiws with LifeStyle a short way into the season. They were soon signed by esports organization Most Wanted. Fresh off of a first place finish in a Legendary Cup, the new roster attended ESA Orange County, looking to qualify for the Open Circuit Finals as one of the top four amateur teams at the event. They did much more than that, finishing fourth overall and very nearly defeating the #1 seeded Team EnVyUs in the process. Most Wanted made a team change going into the OC Finals, replacing BoamX with SwiftKill. They finished top 6 in the Open Circuit Finals and top 12 in the main tournament, failing to qualify for Relegation or win prize money.
After replacing LifeStyle with RyaNoob, Most Wanted competed in the first four weeks of the Esports Minor League Fall season before disbanding. DasTroyed and RyaNoob then left joined TBD alongside Prototype and BabyJ. They went on to take first place in the ESML season and in the Season Finals. TBD was then signed by Team CryptiK going into ME Las Vegas 2017. In Vegas, CryptiK pulled off a big upset in the first round, taking out Evil Geniuses in five games. Unfortunately, losses to Team EnVyUs and Team Allegiance sent them home without a spot at Halo World Championship 2017. The following week in the Last Chance Qualifier, CryptiK, now with PreDevoNatoR in BabyJ's place, again were able to upset Evil Geniuses, but lost in the Finals to Splyce and missed out on Worlds.
During the offseason, DasTroyed and RyaNoob joined up with Nemassist and ContrA, initially as TBD. The roster was acquired by Oxygen Supremacy shortly after forming. At UMG Daytona, Oxygen Supremacy went undefeated in the Open Bracket and made a splash early in the Championship Bracket, sweeping Luminosity Gaming and taking out Str8 Rippin in four games. In the Winners Semifinals, they narrowly lost to Team EnVyUs in five games before being eliminated by Splyce in the Losers Bracket for a top 6 finish. Oxygen narrowly missed out on a Pro League spot, finishing second in the LCQ (losing to Splyce). Forced to play in the Open Circuit, Oxygen won all four cups, dominating their competition throughout the season. In the Relegation round of DreamHack Atlanta, Oxygen were successful in qualifying for the Fall Season of Pro League. In the main bracket, DasTroyed and RyaNoob pulled off another win over Evil Geniuses before falling to Team EnVyUs and eRa Eternity for a top twelve finish.
Going into the Fall season, the Oxygen Supremacy roster was acquired by Naventic. DasTroyed's first season in the Pro League did not go smoothly, with no wins after the first four weeks. Looking to rebound after replacing Nemassist with Prototype, the team instead went winless for the entire season, finishing in eighth place. Prior to DreamHack Denver, the Naventic roster was acquired by Team CryptiK. CryptiK were beaten in their first match in Denver by top EU team Team Infused. After a close victory over CheckSix Gaming, CryptiK were beaten by Evil Geniuses and sent home in the top twelve.
Going into the Halo World Championship 2018 season, DasTroyed and Nemassist teamed up with eL ToWn and Musa to form Oreos. After replacing eL ToWn with Rammyy and earning the seventh seed going into Week #4 of the season, Oreos were signed by Str8 Rippin. At MLG Orlando, Str8 finished second in their pool but were defeated early by OpTic Gaming. After a 3-0 win over Vexed Gaming, Str8 lost to Fyra Gaming and were sent home with a top eight finish. Str8 finished second in their pool again at MLG Columbus, earning themselves a spot at Worlds. In their first bracket match, they lost 3-0 to Tox (former OpTic roster). In losers, they very nearly upset Team EnVyUs but fell 3-2 and finished in the top eight. At Worlds, Str8 finished second in their pool, losing only to Splyce. In the championship bracket, Str8 were swept back to back by Team Reciprocity and Elevate, ultimately being sent home in the top eight.
