The HCS Season 1 Finals were the fourth and final event of HCS Season 1, taking place amidst PAX East 2015 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, Massachusetts from March 6-8th, 2015. Halo 2: Anniversary was played in 4v4 competition.
Overview
The prize pool for the HCS Season 1 Finals was originally announced to be $50,000. In February 2015, it was announced that the prize pool was increased to $100,000.
Format
- Invitational event, top 8 seeded teams after Gamers For Giving 2015 invited plus winner of EGL Battle of Europe 2015 as wildcard
- 8th seed plays Wildcard for 8th seed in tournament
- Double-elimination bracket, best of 5 series
