Impact is a former American Halo team.

History

Halo: Reach

THO Impact was formed in early 2011. It featured three members of the MLG Dallas Halo: Reach exhibition's winning team - Sicker Than Yo Average - those three members being LethuL, Adrenaline, and Amish Acorns. Replacing Blaze as the fourth member was MLG Pro Circuit veteran Neighbor. Impact lived up to its name at MLG Dallas 2011, upsetting defending Halo 3 champions Final Boss in a 3-0 sweep to kick off pool play with a bang. They ultimately finished 1st in their pool, losing only to Soul in a close 3-2 affair. In the bracket, Impact made short work of semifinal opponents Believe the Hype, but came up a game short in the next round against Status Quo. Impact won another series against BtH to earn a Grand Finals rematch against SQ, but SQ came out on top, winning three straight maps to take the Dallas title home.

Following MLG Dallas, Impact replaced Neighbor with another Pro Circuit veteran in APG. In Columbus, Impact were again placed in Final Boss's pool, but were unable to repeat the upset. They finished 2nd in the pool and faced a tough early Losers match against Status Quo. SQ continued their dominance over Impact, sweeping them out of the tournament and sending them home in 11th place.

Following Columbus, the Impact roster imploded, with Adrenaline eventually opting to rebuild the team with fresh faces. Adrenaline recruited ThuggishKilla, IceVayne, and Elumnite. The team, now competing as RGC IMPACT, went into Anaheim as the 16th seed. Their pool play results continued to decline in Anaheim, as they finished 4th in their pool this time around, notably suffering yet another loss to Status Quo and managing a victory over only Quantic Fallen. In the Losers bracket, Impact were able to defeat Carbon to secure top 16, but were taken out in a 5-game series by Active Rush in the following round, resulting in a 16th place finish. Following Anaheim, Adrenaline was picked up by Turning Point and the Impact name was retired.
