History

Halo 5: Guardians

Mindfreak returned to Halo on January 26, 2018, acquiring the #1 Australian team - the Overhaul eSports roster of Madison "Madsy" Stone, Ali "BZIIRK" Deran, Ryan "Junior" Dunkley, Daniel "Seduce" Franken, and coach Bojan "Mantis" Gasic. Mindfreak dominated the Australian Halo World Championship 2018 season, winning all nine online cups. ESL Sydney with little trouble, safely qualifying for Worlds. At MLG Orlando, Mindfreak took out Wise Gaming in pool play but suffered 3-0 losses to Team Reciprocity and Str8 Rippin. In the bracket stage, they were eliminated from the tournament by Fable Esports in a 3-0 loss. At ESL Sydney, Mindfreak obliterated the competition, not dropping a single game en route to a first place finish and a berth at Worlds.
