Purgatory is an American Halo team.

Halo 3

Purgatory was formed in the Summer of 2010 by Illuminati members Chris "Gilkey" Gilkey and Ben "Karma" Jackson alongside Heaven and Earth member Andrew "KillerDrew" Noriega and Active Rush member Leland "Mimic" Jones. The team pulled off a big upset in its first mainstage match at MLG Raleigh, sweeping the highly favored Carbon. After a loss to Believe the Hype in the following round, Purgatory were eliminated by Warriors and finished 8th overall. Their next event, MLG D.C., was less successful, opening with a 3-1 loss to Dynasty before again being eliminated by Warriors, this time for a 12th place finish. Purgatory did not accumulate enough points to qualify for the Dallas National Championships, and the team parted ways after D.C.

Halo 5: Guardians

The Purgatory name was revived in May 2017 by Gilkey alongside Brandon "Sneaky Bran" Weed, Victor "PiLEZ" and Chris "Blaze" Chapon, competing in the Summer 2017 HCS Open Circuit. On June 2 the Sneaky Bran left the team and the roster was revamped by rising AM Jon A Smart Camper.
